Lucius, Mother tells me that she has made arrangements with your father for me to come visit you at Malfoy Manor the weekend before school starts. I do so look forward to it. I know I saw you at Mother's dinner for Andromeda, but when the school term begins, it will be a full two months until I can see you properly again, at Christmas time.

Would you be sweet and make sure to tell your house elves that I would like white sheets in my bed?

That idiot house-elf has lost the necklace I'm wearing for the wedding. This is what comes of trusting servants with things that are this important; I'll never forgive Mother for handing it to Cobble if it isn't recovered. The necklace has been in the family for five centuries, and there will be consequences if that disgusting little thing doesn't find it soon. We've already tried summoning it, which means she must have wedged it behind something and then forgotten. We should have beheaded her years ago, if you ask me. She's completely worthless.

Lucius has taken to calling me Cissy. I find this name delightful and demand all of you will also call me this, or Narcissa.

So Hestia says she's met a couple of charming girls, and that she'd like for us all to go to Hogsmeade for a drink. Not in the crowded Three Broomsticks, you understand, and neither in that horrible Hog's Head, but whatever coffee shop we can find with a little class. Naturally, Madame Puddifoot's is out of the question; all that vulgar pink.

But perhaps it could be fun.

I am slightly angry; my Ancient Runes test seems to have gone exactly the way poor Juliette's did. You'd think our teacher would know to play favourites a little more. After all, they wouldn't expel a Black from the school, so why shouldn't they give me the highest score on the test regardless of how much I've studied? I suppose my mother will send him a few howlers, and I'll discuss it with him after that.

Other than that, life has been quite mellow. I have been talking to Lucius a bit and I'm going to visit him, over Easter perhaps. How are your lives faring?

[OOC: Yeah, I know Julie and Narcissa aren't in the same year, but I just assumed that the professor would give tests to a few different years at the same time. That's all. *tips hat*]

I am deathly bored. I do so wish we could apparate in this school - not that I myself can apparate yet, of course, but my darling Lucius could come here and ... spend the afternoon with me. But that doesn't seem like a very likely prospect. Perhaps I should owl him. Or spend some time with one of my dear sisters. Bellatrix, Andromeda, where are you? Would you perhaps feel like going to Hogsmeade? Hogsmeade weekend or not, I am sure we could (*snorts*) convince a teacher to let us go.

Such glorious weather today. I received an owl from Lucius, he invites me to stay at the Malfoy Manor for a week or so. I will have to ask professor Turdus, of course, but I would very much like to go. He tells me he's taking me to a meeting of some kind. Seems quite interesting.

I stepped on a very buttered piece of toast outside the Hufflepuff cellars. I must say, the fact that my new, 449 galleon, shoes have dried fat and crumbs attached to their heels, makes me rather frustrated. I suppose I will have to owl mother for a new pair or two. Perhaps she'd even send me a dress if I asked her nicely. Something simple, white, draped around my torso - but terribly expensive, of course.

I do wish my sister and my cousin could stop their little quarrel and enlighten me on when they're going to have their little family get-together, especially so since I am very bored and would like to have something aside from hexing mudblood first-years with dear Bellatrix to amuse myself with. Please tell me when you have decided.

Also, did the Potter boy get his glasses back, yet? He did look so funny, rambling about like a blind badger.

I have now returned from my date with Lucius Malfoy. Actually, the third date, but you don't need to know that. I am pleased to say that he is a perfect gentleman, and that we had a most brilliant time. Do ask if there's anything else you want to know.

Lucius Malfoy asked me out on a date earlier today. I must say I’m very flattered, the Malfoys are known not to content themselves with anything but the absolute best. I told him I had to consider his offer, as I didn’t want to seem too keen. Also, I would rather like to discuss it with at least one of my sisters, and preferably Mother, as well. I do hope they will agree with that I should go out with him, he is such a striking man, and elegant, too. I’m not familiar with his personality, but I trust it will be as satisfying as his appearance.
